Construction Inspection Scheduler, June 2015 to present

Employed as a contractor at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region II Office in Atlanta.  Maintain the resource-loaded inspection schedule using Primavera Project Manager Scheduling Software (P6) for the Vogtle Units 3 & 4 Nuclear Power Plants currently undergoing construction in Waynesboro, GA.  Construction schedule data from the field site is imported into the inspection schedule to determine when various structures are ready to be inspected by resident or regional inspectors.

Employed at Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), Atlanta, GA by MARTA’s General Engineering Consultant to oversee the project schedules for several design and construction contracts using Primavera Project Manager (P6) and Primavera Project Planner (P3) Scheduling Software.  The value of the projects ranges between $2 million and $281 million.  Projects have included rail car procurement, new rail station construction, systemwide communications upgrade, systemwide fare collection system upgrade, closed circuit television (CCTV) upgrade, track renovation, trackway signaling upgrade, and new rail yard and auxiliary facility construction.  Responsibilities include:

·   Reviewing various contractors’ weekly and monthly progress schedules for compliance to contractual requirements and milestones.

·   Participating in Weekly Progress Meetings including discussion of a project’s critical path and identification of any needed corrections to the schedule.

·   Developing planning and design schedules for upcoming projects to determine reasonable design and construction durations to use in the contract specifications.

·   Weekly and monthly status reporting of all projects.

·   Verification of schedule impacts due to additional change order work.

Senior Planning Analyst, January 1998 to November 1999

Employed as a contractor at Lockheed Martin Federal Systems in Owego, NY.  Maintained the resource-loaded CPM schedule for the Navy SH-60 Seahawk Light Airborne Multi-Purpose System (LAMPS) Helicopter Avionics Program using Primavera Project Planner (P3) Scheduling Software.  Major responsibilities included:

·   Entered monthly status updates into the schedule including earned value inputs.

·   Analyzed the schedule’s critical path and reported the impacts to responsible task owners and management.  Impact mitigations are subsequently entered into the schedule.

·   Added new tasks to the schedule as needed as well as any related resources or relationship linkages.

·   Rebaselined the schedule, when authorized by the customer, which involved either modifying existing tasks and resources or adding new tasks and resources.

Planning Analyst, August 1993 to January 1998

Employed by a manufacturer of Rail Transit Cars and Propulsion Systems; worked on projects with a value up to $100 million, with the following responsibilities:

·   Developed and maintained CPM schedules covering both design and production phases for multiple projects using Primavera Project Planner (P3) scheduling software.

·   Tracked and responded to correspondence letters from the customer.  Submitted deliverables including test reports, and technical manuals.

·   Tracked status of field modifications performed by four different field service sites using a spreadsheet matrix.

·   Reviewed Maintenance and Parts Manuals for accuracy and edited accordingly.

Employed as a Test Engineer with the following responsibilities:

·   Developed, installed, and implemented a UNIX-based Data Acquisition System (DAS) used in a Climate Room to test the performance of HVAC systems installed on railcars.

·   Developed apparatus and supporting documentation necessary to calibrate the DAS to MIL-STD 45662A as well.

·   Involved in the development and implementation of an onboard Data Acquisition System used to test the railcar wiring.

Assigned to four (4) different combined cycle power cogeneration construction projects in Upstate New York, with approximate value of $60 million each, with responsibilities which included the following:

·   Maintained project schedules and progress reports using both a personal computer and an IBM AS/400 mainframe computer.

·   Cost coded all material purchase requisitions and verified cost coding of all daily timesheets.

·   Administered the quantity reporting system and performed periodic audits to assure compliance.

·   Processed and tracked all backcharge and rework information.

·   Forecasted deviations from the current budget using various estimating tools and techniques and revised the budget accordingly.
